  茶在中国有着悠久的历史与特殊的社会地位。最初,茶叶主要作为草药被人们种植。随着时间的推移,除了其药用功能,中国人开始享受茶所带来的幸福愉悦和社会价值。根据制茶的工艺,我们可以将其归为绿茶、红茶、乌龙茶、黑茶、黄茶、白茶等六类。由于人们尊重自然、向往内心平和,茶道应运而生。

  The history of tea in China is long and the social status of it is prominent. In the beginning, tea was cultivated in the beginning mainly as herbal medicine. As time passed, Chinese people started to appreciate tea’s enjoyment and social value, besides its medical purposes. By the method of processing, we can classify tea into six categories-green tea, black tea, Oolong tea, dark tea, yellow tea, and white tea. The Chinese tea ceremony was born as a result of respect for nature and the need for peace.
